"We were delighted to host Lise Pearlman's reenactment of the 1935 “crime of the century” murder trial of Bruno Richard Hauptmann for the death of Charles Lindbergh, Jr. A cast of volunteers brought that historic trial to life. Included in this trial was expert testimony from nationally known pathologist Dr. Peter Speth.
He concluded from available medical evidence that the toddler did not die when, where or how Hauptmann was convicted of the murder. The audience voted as a mock jury on whether the case against Hauptmann should be reopened — 95% of them voted yes.”
